I’m gonna be naughty and not tell you who this curly headed young’un is…you will just have to guess. I will say that she was certainly having a good time even though her mom kept telling her to “be careful and don’t fall in that creek”. For those frequent readers it won’t be hard to guess who she might be.

Merle…I think this was taken in Damascus, possibly there at the little house where Uncle Charles and Aunt Doris lived or my other guess is at what I always called Ms Betty Abel’s house. That house was beside where Faith Baptist Church is (formally a Lutheran Church when I was that age). I can’t tell from the picture, but bother had that small creek and I’m pretty sure it was Ms Betty’s that we lived in at the time.
