A few weeks ago all of us cousins, aunts, uncles and a couple of special friends got together to remember and honor our grandparents, Carl and Ruth Cook.  I’m telling you that when this clan gets together there is a bunch of us.  This is a picture of all of us cousins with our kids and grandchildren and we had a great time.  There was plenty of food and lots of memories along with the tears of sadness that so many of the family are no longer with us, but also knowing that we will see them all again.  There were a few that couldn’t make it that day and we missed them also.

I’m always telling you about my family and sharing pictures, most of which are recent ones. However, I came upon a couple of pictures that I had never seen before and of course I just have to share them with you. These are my maternal grandparents and as you already know, I’m so very proud that I spent the first few years of my life growing up in their home.
