As promised I’m gonna try to get a picture on here that was taken with my repaired camera.  The pictures are not the best, but I supposed something is better than nothing. 

 I decided to take a picture of one of my favorite pictures that was taken when I was around 4-5 years old.  My Aunt Cel was watching me ‘primp’ in the mirror at my Granny Cook’s house.  As you can see, I had plenty of curls at that time, but a few years later my mom decided that I needed short hair.  When the hair went, so did my beautiful curls, and to this day my hair is as straight as a stick.

Maybe sometime in the near future I’ll get better at taking pictures or this camera will die completely and I’ll get a new one and just maybe it will take better pictures.  I guess I’ll just have to blame the camera for the bad ones for now (I sure can’t take the blame…haha).

As you know my camera went bad on me, so we took it back to Best Buy thinking that I would get a new one since we had purchased the replacement insurance.  Well, let me tell you that we just wasted our money purchasing that insurance.  The lens was messed up and they first said they would repair it, then said that they couldn’t repair it, then repaired it anyway.  At least they said it was repaired, but when I finally got it back and tried to put the media card in, it would not accept it.  So back to Best Buy we went and they tried to tell us that our card was just bad.  Funny thing is that it worked in Rick’s camera and had worked in mine before.  So they had to try their card and when that didn’t work, they said the card had to be formatted.  Well, it didn’t take long for them to see that we were right and they were wrong, so they sent it off for repairs again.

The first time it was sent off I was without a camera for over a month and I finally received the camera back after another long month without a camera.  So far I have been able to take pictures, but don’t have any real good ones yet, but as soon as I get a good one I’ll let you see it.  I do have to say that the quality of the movies that I took at church yesterday was much better than it had been pre-repair, so some good came out of the wait I suppose.

I think I’ll take a walk around my house and see if I can find something interesting to snap a shot of and see what happens.  Just maybe I’ll get something I’d like to share with you and maybe this time the repair will last longer than a day or so.  We will just have to wait and see.
